Albert Hawcroft
Yorkshire man served with Durham Light Infantry
Albert Hawcroft enlisted in Barnsley into the 14th York and Lancaster Regiment (2nd Barnsley Pals), numbered 14/304. When the battalion was broken up in 1918, he joined the 4th Entrenching Battalion. From there he was transferred to the Durham Light Infantry and joined 2nd Battalion as 93152.
