Wilfred Grey Jacks (1896-)

Wilfred Grey Jacks was born in South Shields, County Durham, in 1896. He was living in this town with his family and attending to school in 1911.
Later, he enlisted with 2/6th Battalion Durham Light Infantry, being commissioned the 29th of June 1915. He was still with this battalion in November 1916 but, in 1917, according to the army list, Jacks was attached to Royal Flying Corps.
