Charles Vincent Moor (1898-1917)


Darlington man served with the 22nd Battalion Durham Light Infantry


Charles Vincent Moor was born in 1898. In 1911 his family was living at 85 Brunton Street, in Darlington, and he was still at school.

22/127 Private Charles Vincent Moor served with the 22nd Battalion Durham Light Infantry, a pioneer battalion, also known as the 3rd County battalion.

Charles was killed in action on 9 January 1917.
