Thomas Cunningham


Served with 2nd, 20th and 15th DLI


Thomas Cunningham enlisted in the 4th (Extra Reserve) Battalion DLI around 1910. His number was 4/8028.
He was posted to 2nd DLI and arrived in France on 1 November 1914. From Thomas’ medal rolls it can be asserted that he served with 2nd, 20th, 2nd again and 15th Battalions in France. He was finally posted to Class Z Reserve.

At some stage he deserted and his medals forfeit, but they were reinstated in 1921.
