Photographs of DLI stretcher bearers


Regarding the group photograph:

The man seated in the centre of the picture is a soldier of the Durham Light Infantry; it seems that he has lost his cap badge and replaced it with the DURHAM part of a shoulder title.

He is flanked by a Canadian, standing on the left, and a Bombardier of the Royal Field Artillery on the right. This last one is wearing the ribbons of the Queens and King’s South Africa Medals.
