Type: War Memorial

War Memorial statue of a Durham Light Infantry soldier in service dress with cap and pack, hands clasped around barrel of rifle which rests on ground. Located in the grounds of the Town Hall in the centre of the pathway leading from Market Street to the Hall entrance, statue facing west.
Commemorates the men of Ferryhill who died in the First World War, 1914-1918, Unveiled 1925.
