Joseph Hetherington
DLI Lieutenant
Joseph Hetherington was commissioned Second Lieutenant of 16th Battalion Durham Light Infantry (DLI) on 3 December 1914. He was later posted to 10th DLI in France on 19 November 1915. He was promoted to lieutenant on 30 May 1916.
He relinquished his commission on completion of service on 1 September 1921, retaining his rank.
