Transcript of article:

The Royal Infirmary Ladies Guild, which has raised £8,000 for the Royal Infirmary, is now making special efforts to secure another £1,000 to endow a ninth bed. To assist in raising funds, a Lady Munition Workers’ Football match will be held on Saturday on the Ashbrooke Ground, Glaholm and Robson’s Ltd. Y. Armstrong’s No. 58 shop.
