Kate Maxey of Spennymoor: exhibition story boards
Nursing sister awarded the Military Medal
This set of ten story boards was produced as part of a First World War Centenary commemorative exhibition entitled ‘Spennymoor’s Great War’, held at the Bob Abley Gallery, Spennymoor Town Hall, 2 – 30 August 2014.
John Grainger and John Banham carried out additional research to supplement the original records and information provided by Kate Maxey’s three great nieces.
