Photograph of Healeyfield Prisoner of War camp, showing a man and woman stood in front of huts. There is no date on the photograph. According to an inspection report in 1916, when the camp was established, the prisoners slept in tents though it was intended that the camp have hut erected. The War Office’s ‘List of Lands and Building in the occupation of the War Department 1 June 1918’ lists a hutment camp at Rowley which is close to Healeyfield.
